Welcome to Bubba Radio Network®

SATELLITE:

Bubba the Love Sponge® was Howard Stern’s first choice to join him in his celebrated launch on Sirius Satellite Radio on Jan. 9, 2006, where the Bubba the Love Sponge® Show is broadcast nationwide weekday afternoons from 3-7 pm ET (12-4 PM PT) and on Fridays from 10AM-2PM ET, on channel Howard 101. According to Arbitron radio ratings, Howard 101 is the second most-listened to channel in satellite radio (behind Howard 100), and Bubba’s show attracts satellite radio’s second-largest audience, behind only Stern’s and with more listeners than all other talk/entertainment shows combined.

TERRESTRIAL:

On Jan. 8, 2008, Bubba re-joined terrestrial radio, taking over mornings on Cox Radio’s classic rocker 102.5 The Bone (WHPT-FM) in Tampa, where his lively talk radio show made history and headlines by debuting at number one and having the largest market share of any morning show in the top 25 markets. The show is simulcast on WFYV-FM/ Rock 105 in Jacksonville. According to the Fall 2008 Arbitron ratings, Bubba now completely dominates Tampa Bay morning radio, with the number-one ranking across a whopping 11 demographics, including women ages 18-34 and 25-54, demonstrating his wide appeal.

SYNDICATION:

The Bubba the Love Sponge® Show is syndicated live on Cox Radio stations WHDR-FM/Miami (93 Rock), WHTQ-FM/Orlando (96.5), WDYL-FM/Richmond (Y101), and WZLR-FM/Dayton (95.3 The Eagle), along with Beasley Broadcast Group station WRXK-FM/Ft. Myers (96 K-Rock), covering Arbitron metro survey areas ranked #12 (Miami-Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood, FL); #34 (Orlando, FL); #54 (Richmond, VA); #61 (Ft. Myers-Naples-Marco Island, FL), and #62 (Dayton) for a combined potential audience of almost 8 million persons. This is in addition to the Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater survey area, ranked #18 (2.3 million) and Jacksonville, ranked #46 (1.1 million), for a total potential audience well over ten million persons. On March 16, 2009, Dayton’s 95.3 The Eagle became the newest affiliate of the Bubba Radio Network, adding another classic rock format to Bubba’s growing roster of music stations that air the show live.

Bubba broadcasts from his own, custom-built radio broadcast and audio/video production facility in Tampa that features a green room with a shower, the “Bubbagon” (an enclosed MMA fight area), a stripper pole, and a daily stream of guests from the worlds of sports, comedy, music, TV and film, and adult film/video. He recently built and outfitted the “Clem Gym” close to the facility for his staff to maintain the physical stamina needed to do such high-energy radio shows.

TV commentator Tucker Carlson, who met Bubba when Bubba was a guest on his MSNBC-TV show, has become not just a fan, but a popular live weekly guest on the Bubba the Love Sponge® Show (where else would he reveal his addiction for Nicorette?). Dr. Mark, a weekly guest urologist who answers and advises male listeners/callers on all penile-related questions and concerns, receives huge phones. Another popular weekly feature, the “Unsigned Band Review,” recently earned a full article in Music Connection magazine.

During just his first six months in the Ft. Myers-Naples-Marco Island market on WRXK-FM (96.1 K-Rock), the audience for Bubba the Love Sponge® already surpasses many more established morning radio programs in the market, including the syndicated Bob & Tom Show (heard locally on WARO-FM).

The latest Arbitron radio rating demonstrate Bubba’s broad appeal and his dominating popularity with male audiences, in particular – and shows him clobbering The Bob & Tom Show in at least three major demographics.

According to the Spring 2009 book, his first since Bubba’s morning show began airing on Beasley Broadcast Group’s 96.1 K-Rock in January:

Bubba’s show possesses the number-one ranking with the coveted Persons 25-54 demographic, obtaining a 8.2 AQH (average quarter hour) share. Comparatively, The Bob & Tom Show received only a 5.8 rating in this category.

Bubba is also number one with Men 25-54, with a 10.6 AQH share. The Bob & Tom Show had only a 6.2 rating in this category. And before Bubba joined the station, WRXK had only a 1.6 AQH share in this category and was not even ranked in the top ten.

Bubba’s rating with the Persons 12+ demographic is a 5.0 AQH share, which combined with his 1.0 AQH share morning show ratings in the market on WHPT/Tampa, gives him a total 6.0 rating with the 12+ demographic. With or without WHPT, Bubba outranked The Bob & Tom Show, who had only a 4.7 rating in this category.

Simply put: If you want morning domination with adults, you want Bubba the Love Sponge®. If you want a morning show that will quickly take the shine off of Bob & Tom in your market – you want Bubba!
